FoodCel™ Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a common chemical with a wide range of uses. It is used as a viscosity regulator or thickener in food production and thickener in medicine, and it is an integral part of toothpaste, water-based coating, detergent, and other products. CMC can also be used in the petroleum drilling industry and plays the role of viscosity modifier and water-retaining agent in drilling mud.
